As part of our company mission to improve our environmental performance, SandenVendo is thrilled to officialize the launch of our Carbon Neutral project.

Starting from September 2020, the project will see the reforestation of the Po River Park nearby Casale Monferrato in Italy, where our Italian manufacturing plant is located: an ambitious yet necessary action that will contribute to reducing our industrial impact on the environment.

The purpose is to combat climate change by balancing the CO2 emitted with the production of our products to be absorbed over the years: we will keep planting trees until the emissions calculated are counter-balanced. This long-term green project will run across four years and will meet three of the goals listed on the UN 2020 Agenda.

The begin of our collaboration with the river park “Parco del Po Vercellese-Alessandrino” was celebrated on November 24th with the attendance of a SandenVendo team: Valter Degiovanni (legal representative), Daniela Faccioni and Michele Zorgno as well as the director of the Po River Park Dario Zocco and Luca Cristaldi as caretaker of the park.

By the end of 2020, a total of 300 poplar trees will be planted in this area, growing effortlessly into strong trees that will become the next breathing lung of the lands that welcome our production site.
